My Lincoln
2022 Aviator
My 22 Aviator developed a rattle and squeaking noise which I think is the drivers front spring. It went on for several weeks and now has seem to calm down. Anyone experience same?

Hi bkidder472. In addition to asking others if they have had a similar problems, the best course of action when there is an issue with a new vehicle which is still within the 4 year/50,000 mile New Vehicle Warranty, and/or the 6 year/70,000 mile Powertrain Warranty, is to schedule a service appointment to have the issue properly diagnosed and corrected.

When you bring your vehicle in for the scheduled appointment, ask the Service Advisor to take a ride with you, so you can physically demonstrate the issue. Be sure they clearly state that they hear/see/feel/smell the problem. In this way, you can hopefully avoid the dreaded "Could not duplicate the customer concern" work invoice.

Also, let them know if you will need a Lincoln Complementary loaner when you schedule the service, so that they have one available for you the day of your appointment.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Too late as I already received the "Could not duplicate the customers concern". I should have done as you suggested but was late for another appointment. However, the dealer did follow up asking me to bring the car back for a test ride with a technician once they received my poor survey.

Presently the car is no longer making the squeaking noise. Yeah! If it starts up again I will take it back.

Thank you for your reply and help.
