Door Module from donor Town Car has different part number - what are the odds of it working?

My '07 Signature has a defective Driver Door Module. I found an identically-equipped '06 Signature and pulled out the module. To my surprise, it has a different part number than my '07. If I install it, and assuming this used module is not defective, what are the odds of this '06 part working correctly in my '07 Town Car and accepting the pairing with the key fobs?

If all the plugs match, I'd give it a try...

The key fobs shouldn't be an issue since the pairing doesn't involve any vehicle specific information.

Whether all of the functionality works might be a different question.
