New 2020 Continental Reserve 3.0 owner. I've owned multiple Fords before including a Taurus SHO. I have had no problem disabling the belt-minder in my other three Fords but for some reason, even following the directions in the owner's manual, I cannot disable the built-minder on my new 2020 conti. After the seat belt light goes out, with a car and park, lights off, seat belt un buckled and accessory on, wait 5 seconds, buckle and unbuckle three times ending in the unbuckle position, the seat belt light never turns back on. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Anyone else have any problems? Also notice that the seat belt minder is supposed to disengage each ignition cycle if you buckle your seatbelt and then unbuckle within 30 seconds. This also does not work in my vehicle. So frustrated. Any help Appreciated.

Try it again: work slowly and meticulously; it worked fine on my 2017 and now on the new 2020 Reserve.

Really! On a 2020? This was the procedure I followed. Car off. Parking brake on, lights off, seat belt unbuckled. Ignition on accessory. Wait for seat belt light to go off, wait at 5 seconds. Buckled and unbuckled three times. The light never came back on though. It should come on rather quickly right? and then you buckle and unbuckle again and then it's supposed to come on and blink, right? I even tried it with the passenger side too. Nothing.

...or, get a buckle clip on eBay for $4 and be done with it.

Need to have the park brake set. Didn't see that in your comments
