My Lincoln
Navigator
In website based manual for the 2023 Lincoln Navigator, under transmission fluid temperature gauge, it states the following:

TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE GAUGE

Indicates the transmission fluid temperature.
Special operating conditions can cause higher than normal operating temperatures. See Special Operating Conditions Scheduled Maintenance.
Note: This is a configurable gauge.

Anyone ave any luck in figuring out how to activate the transmission fluid temperature gauge? I tow a boat with my navigator and would like to see how it is doing going up hill. Thank you.

Ok, on my Navigator after I start the vehicle in I would normal/default settings. If you toggle the B, D button up or down you will pass the Trip Modes, Tire Pressure Settings, Blank Screen and then you will see a Transmission Temp box with a screen that shows if you are connected to a trailer. This was how would monitor my transmission temps. Is this what you are asking? I will take a picture of my screen in the morning.

It's either different or doesn't exist on the 22-23's. I had a 19 and it was right there on the dash, easy to find. I actually went hunting for it on my 23 but unable to find it. I also have the towing package but have not towed anything. maybe it will show if/when I actually tow?

Can't tell you on a 23 but on my 20 BL with heavy Duty Towing - if I scan down to Trailer Info (even without a trailer hooked up) it shows Trans Temp, Miles Towed & Steering Wheel Position. Mine does have the fancy "Backup Knob" if it makes a difference.

My 19 showed it. The 23 does not. I thought I read somewhere that it only shows when towing. I have not towed yet so cannot say for sure.

This has to be the correct response. My '22 does not show it like my '20 previously did.
