My Lincoln
2023 Nautilus Black Label
I have read older posts but is anyone having problems with the 2023 vehicle. I have had my 2023 Nautilus for a month and the charging pad does not keep my iPhone 14 ProMac charging. The phone will start to charge and then stops and sometimes will start charging again or just stops. I have even taking the case of the phone but still has the same problems keeping the charger to stay on.

Hi Burtman. We can always find someone on the Internet who has had one type of problem or another and can feel our pain. :geek:
Therefore, my best advice would be: If you want timely service for this issue, schedule a service visit and demonstrate the issue to your Service Advisor at your Dealership.

Or if it is not a pressing concern, have them take a look when you bring your vehicle in for the next routine service visit.

Let us know how you make out and good luck. 🍻

It’s likely that as you drive, the phone has moved from the optimal charging position For the iPhone MagSafe charging system. Just move the phone around on the charging pad until it signals that it is charging again.

Perhaps worth trying while waiting to get fixed but I'd say if such is definitely either broken or defective design. Magsafe is "supposed" to "lock" into position (the mag part?).

I've yet to investigate mine but I do suspect it charges slower and gets warmer than it should.

The same thing happens to me, I think it is due to the fact that as you drive the phone will eventually shift deeper into the phone slot since it is sloped down. Once it gets past a certain point, the contact is broken and the phone will stop charging. I ended up shoving a piece of foam into the compartment to help stop the phone from sliding too far and it seems to work decently well. Best of luck!

To lock the phone in position, the MagSafe system requires a MagSafe phone and a MagSafe compatible charger (or accessory as the case may be). The wireless charger in the Lincoln’s is not MagSafe compatible.

I have the same issue that the phone charger starts then stops and then sometimes starts again. It will happen with the car stopped in a red light, or driving. It wall happen with the cover off the phone or with the cover on. Finally we just plugged in a charger cable and forgot about the problem. Poor design. Not worth pursuing at the dealer.
