My Lincoln
2024 Nautilus Reserve II Hybrid Jet Appearance
I run CarPlay and I am running the latest iOS. Every time Siri makes an announcement or dings with an alert) the volume comes in at 7 or 8. As Sir speaks I turn the volume down to 4. Then with the next alert it is back at 8. This is too loud for me. I tried the notification settings but nothing seems to fix this. My prior auto, 2020 Explorer ST did not act this way. If I changed the volume my setting was persistent.

I have a 2024 Nautilus Reserve 2 and I am up to date on all updates and recalls, except the pedestrian alert recall.

Does anyone else have this issue and has anyone else found a fix.

This is killing me. Please share

Thank you

@Blitz - YES, same lack of notification volume memory across the board - aka.... not just Siri, but also all 3 of the mapping apps (running on the iphone native). We have the same Hybrid 24 R II (no Jet) with all the current updates/code fixes. our 2022 Lincoln Nautilus would always remember any volume changes/settings, as long as you made the adjustment when the notification was actively speaking. Weirdly, most all of these minor fixes has taken extremely elongated resolve times.

Just as JMAB mentioned, the problem is all over the place. The minimum volume cannot be below 7. If you make it higher, that will be saved, so the problem is not the saving, it's the limitation of 7 as the lowest value. You can see the same thing in the seetings, 7 is the loweest value for messages.
Dealer told me they escalated the problem, but we need as many dealers as possible to escalate to hope for a fix some day...

thank you and thank you @JMAB . unacceptable behavior from Ford/Lincoln. This design is now 2 years old.
