AC 🆘 help!!!

Okay so sometimes it will make a swelling noise but normally it blows air fine, just not cold. There is pressure in the lines so no leak, and the fan is running fine. What do I check next and what could this possibly be? I need cold air in this heat! Of course I bought it right before summer w all giddiness because the cooled seats and great ac and both have gone out...... It's a 07 mkx...... Please help me!!! Thanks in advance!

If the compressor turns on, then try these first easiest to hardest.
1) replace cabin filter
2) clean condenser and radiator.
3) If compressor isn't turning on, then try a new pressure sensor switch
4) Try a new expansion valve. (if air is a little cold but not cold enough, valve could be old and plugged).
4) Replace ac drier - This is probably the problem if compressor is turning on. The drier is supposed to catch water but after 10yrs, its saturated. Water in system will cause weird noises and ruin the entire system. After changing the drier, you'll need to put a vacuum on the system to take all water out, then recharge.

If you don't have a MKX service manual, Youtube helps for instructions. Use safety replacing any parts like this since its under pressure.
