My Lincoln
2024 Nautilus R2H
This is a full review of a gas model after their initial 'First Drive' with a hybrid back in March. Not a stellar review, particularly with handling. Alas, the center console display stopped working for 1½ days. 🙄

2024 Lincoln Nautilus Review

Read it fully, if you want a sport SUV, the Nautilus is not it, I agree should have rear window sunshades and AC controls. My wife had 2 MKX and 2022 Nautilus and she likes this vehicle hands down over the last one and the MKXs. I got used to the steering wheel controls in no time, yes would like more controls vs always using the center screen. We have the Hybrid and around town 28.6 and on the hwy trips 40-100 miles 31-33 so very happy with that. Oh we are seniors and the tech is easy to learn even for my non tech wife. We have adopted two boys now teenager's like the backseat room. Is a very quiet ride, like the seats, we have the Black Label. I test drove the RX350, with teenagers not enough room, especially for trips, we have done one to the Texas Hill Country and was a good trip. I did like the Lexus would have cost less, wife the Nautilus and this is her daily. Mine is a Sierra Denali or C8 Corvette.

I have driven my Nauti Hybrid with Pirelli tires in a southwest Virginia mountain area on very windy roads and had no concerns with handling. The steering was fast and responsive but not trying to drive like a race car. The hybrid engine worked well. The standard touring Michelin Primacy tires did not get great reviews at tirerack.com.

I agree with the review. There is something about this new platform that just doesn't do well on curves. It might be the stamped control arms and flexy body but I found it will plow the front tires even during lower speed maneuvers if push it even a little. I do miss the sport from my edge ST but i am still enjoying the plush ride of the nautilus. I just have to remember to slow down more than I feel i should for this size vehicle. It should also have rear climate control and adaptive lights on reserve trim for sure.

I just drove our hybrid in the winding coutry roads of the Berkshires of MA. Michelin primacy tires. Used excite mode. The vehicle handled very well, was responsive and braked well. It's not a sports car, but still fun to drive in those conditions.

Ahh, the Berkshires :) I grew up in central MA, always enjoyed it when I caught a concert at Tanglewood.
