2021 Corsair Start/Stop button issue

Hello all. After parking our car as normal last night I went out to run an errand today. Have the key on me, got in as I have 1000 times before. Put my foot on the brake and pressed the start/stop button to get going but it decided to present a flashing green indicator instead of starting. Any advice?

Yeah I did. It turns off. Then try to start as normal again and when you push it, it continues to flash.

Perhaps the battery in your remote control is dead. For my 2023 Corsair, page 210 in the owner's manual mentions the "Passive Key Backup Position:"

If you are unable to start your vehicle, do the following:
1. Access the backup slot (in my car in the back of the storage bin in the console).
2. With the buttons facing the front of your vehicle, place the passive key into the backup slot.
3. With the key in this position, press the brake pedal, then press the push button ignition switch on and start your vehicle.
