My Lincoln
2020 Nautilus
Hello. Im wondering if anybody else has had difficulty or knows about a seat belt extender for the passenger rear seat belt. My local Lincoln dealership said that Ford's official rear seat belt extender part# (6L2Z-78611C22-AA) is supposed to work with all three rear seat belts but it's on backorder. So, I scoured the internet and found one but unfortunately it only works with the driver's rear and middle seat belts. When i told the dealership they seemed stunned and weren't even aware that the tongue on the passenger rear seat belt is shaped totally different than the other two. They said they would look into it, but I don't have much faith in them. Not sure why Lincoln made these seat belt receptacles sit below the seat, but it makes it really hard to buckle up. Plus, I use my car for rideshare and people are always complaining about them and dinging me on my rating. If anyone knows of a solution whether by official ford/lincoln parts or jerry rigging i would be very grateful.

Did you buy your Lincoln new? Was it involved in a pass side accident? I think the buckles should be the same. Maybe someone replaced it with an aftermarket or different year? Hopefully others on here with another 2020 Nautilus will take a pic of theirs and see if its the same?

I just had the same problem and the rear passenger buckle is the only one that’s different. Very strange

The receptacles are awful. When I mentioned to my dealer his response was, that’s the way they are made. ??? Next to almost unusable side door pockets useless storage trays in the front and tailgate can’t close the car in gear means this the first and Lincoln I own.
