Does anyone have the specs for the speaker sizes, depths, OHMs and wattage for factory Conti amps/head unit? I am looking to upgrade my speakers but cant find much information on the OHMS and wattage the NON revel factory system emits. I prob wont be doing a subwoofer install - as much as I would like to. So just upgrading the speakers would be great since the sound isnt the best as it comes.

I am using Crutchfield - but as much as I DO trust them, I would like to know this information myself.

I would love some more info on this. :) I am sure someone has some type of info regarding the specs of the system

The service manual does not give specifications for the 10 speakers in the base system with touchscreen. The Revel 13 speaker system and the Revel Ultima 19 speaker system specifications are not covered either.

I just got my Lincoln with base speaker system. I was expecting it to sound horrible. SiriusXM does sound pretty bad but using Amazon Prime music through Bluetooth sounds much better. Not audiophile quality by a long shot, but liveable for me.

I suppose if I could drop it off somewhere for a day, spend $1K and have it sound like the Revel Ultimate I would spring for it. I think I’ll stay away from a home hack.

sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but i talked with the Lincoln customs depeartment specialist, and he said it costs $6,000 BASE just to rip apart the inside of the car to replace the sound, because of how integrated the Lincoln stereo is. Gone are the old days of an amp and wiring harness and battery config. LOL.

My reserve cont didn't come with a revel upgrade so i'm bummed I'd have to fork over a total of $10k for a sick JL audio upgrade, but i plan on having this car for a long, long time, so the investment might be worth it for me, as i am a huge audiophile and love loud music.

Good luck on that $1k though, lol. Not going to happen.

I know this is a bit of an older post, but I just upgraded my 10 speaker system and replaced front door woofer and tweeter and center with JBL's, dual 12" Kicker Sub, a 600w amp for speakers and a 1700w monoblock amp for subs. All I had to do was access the factory amp outputs (very easy) for the front and center. I spliced into the specific +/- speaker wire outputs and that runs into my Hertz DSP. The DSP does all the work and will take the full range signal and remove any factory applied eq's curves, time delays etc and gives you a flat eq to work with. I added a small DAC before the DSP so now I just connect my phone via usb-c into the DAC then run optical out of the DAC into the DSP. It sounds amazing now. Now I can play 96kHz at 24bit. It's so crystal clear now.
