Dear Community,
Can anyone with their expert knowledge help me in replacing or repairing-if possible?) the Air Suspension Module on my 2005 Lincoln Town Car that is located behind the glove box?
Following is the sequence of events that has led me to believe the module got wet and now is not working.
First noticed that the passenger floor mat was "soaking" wet, hours later while driving the Air Suspension light came on in the dash( the car ride height was not different at all) and then days later the steering got stiff?
So I came back to this site, my "go to" forum site, which is the best Lincoln Forum on the web! and after reading many posts and gaining a ton of knowledge I have come to this conclusion, that its the AS Module.
I need the help of the community again, please.
QUESTION?: Has anyone ever replaced this module before? I have enclosed pictures of what I believe is the module, behind the glove box, but cannot be sure as I had to order a decent repair manual. I would also need the correct part number of the AS module and how to replace or repair it.
Any expert mechanical knowledge, any help you can provide me is so greatly appreciated, so much so I cannot thank you enough!
I have another post concerning the start of this problem, I am not technically smart at all so I don't know how to get you to that post, but all of the simple mechanics were checked, i.e. fuses, leaks etc.
