2004 Aviator AWD wont switch from locked

My Lincoln
2004 Aviator
I have a 2004 Lincoln Aviator that has all-wheel drive. There is a toggling between enabled disabled and locked in the command center of the Aviator. I cannot get it to switch from the locked position. Has anybody encountered this? It worked up to about a month ago and now all the sudden it is not.
