Hey chaps,
I have a 2000 Lincoln Town car and would like to program additional keys. I have a vgate vlinker interface and FORScan with the one year extended license installed on a tablet. I could read the factory keyless number code for the keypad on the door and could program 2 additional keyfobs, so in general FORScan seems to work fine. However it fails when I try to program additional keys.
I have one working key. I am trying to program 2 additional keys. I bought those:

When I try to program I just get the error message that the programming failed. When I turn the ignition on with one of the unprogrammed keys, I get a P1260 error code. All I can find is that it just means that the PATS is unhappy, but it doesn't specify whether it detected a unprogrammed key or didn't detect the transponder at all.
Does anyone have any hints on how to proceed?
