04 Town Car suddenly stopped driving only reverse!!!

Happened while driving had to coast to a stop no noise or nothing but goes in reverse fine still. Prior to this issue it ran and shifted just fine. Am I missing something or is that how these cars transmission say I'm done ?

Does it still go forward in limp mode, or not at all?

Check the fluid condition and make sure it is at the proper level using the recommended fluid
