Hello all! I was wondering if anyone out there has somehow converted the cd changer in the trunk into an aux in line. I’ve heard of people doing this in other cars but figured I’d check in here and see if someone actually did this in a town car. I really don’t listen to cd’s much anymore and would like to hook my phone into the factory radio. I want to avoid that whole cassette with a wire attached type of interface. I also did send a factory radio from another vehicle out to one of those factory radio rebuilders to get the aux input installed...but...not happy with the results...so looking to do something different here. Please let me know if anyone has been successful with this. Thanks!

No experience but have heard of kits that plug into the trunk CD changer wiring to do this (disables the trunk changer). I think Crutchfield.com is a place to check.

Thanks! I’ll check it out.

I tried Crutchfield and all they had was for 2005 and up Ford. But Thanks!

I added an iSimple IS77 Universal iPod Adapter to my Lincoln Town Car. Works great. Hid the Control Unit under the AUX Port and the Cable and ON/OFF button in the Ash Tray I don't use. Completely out of sight when not in use.
