Headlights randomly stay on when i turn off the car. Sometimes they dim and go out, like draining from a capacitor, and sometimes they kill the battery. (I disconnect battery frequently to save it)

All driver door buttons and switches dead.

Now requires turning key to run, then off, then run again to fire up... i think that primes the fuel line. Not totally sure what fuel reset does, but guessing it's not a problem for this issue.

So i am hoping fixing my door somehow cures other problems, for example a short somewhere to headlights or lighting control module? Im guessing my fuel pump is just coincidentally dying of old age.... Maybe these symptoms are common though- anybody know anything related?

Update- cleaned all crud from DDM and cable contacts... fuel door switch now works, but none of the other switches... no trunk, windows, mirrors, seats, or locks. Only one spot on switchboard of DDM showed a little white spot that looked like it had been wet. There was a little scattered dusty debris, but cleaned very well. Mainboard looked clean "as the day."
