window trim

Hi! I am hoping someone can and will tell me how to remove the stainless steel (?) molding (or moulding, as the Brits would say, IIRC! :) ) that is on the rear doors above and continuing to the rear of the window(s). I bought my car with the front broken off on one side - ya gotta wonder what...
