memory seats

What is the reference voltage for the fuel gauge sending unit. Also the expected resistance, Thanks , my gauge only reads 3/4 at full and about 5 gallons in the tank when gauge reads E and miles to empty = 0. I still get 95 miles til dry. Just bought this beauty and getting to know her...
