fail safe mode

Surely I can't be the only one- but google is nearly void of the error message I am getting on Sync. I have a 2009 Lincoln MKX suv with the voice activated TXX SYNC system (and no, it does not say powered by Microsoft so i don't think it's that version). Everything worked fine for several years...
