I was (again) reading on the Lincoln website to try and better understand the premium connectivity subscription (and what it actually provides) and found this page. It doesn't help provide much more details on the subscription. But I notice that the second paragraph says this...

"Important: All 2024 – 2025 Lincoln Digital Experience vehicles will have Amazon Alexa functionality removed in early 2026 due to the end of life of Alexa services across all Ford/Lincoln Digital Experience vehicles. 2026 and newer Lincoln vehicles are not equipped with Alexa. The Alexa app cannot be downloaded on Digital Experience vehicles. Google Assistant is now the voice assistant in these vehicles, and no additional actions can be taken to restore Amazon Alexa functionality."

It appears that Ford/Lincoln has decided to no longer play with Amazon on this functionality. I'm not sure how many people actually use Alexa in their cars. I don't. But just in case some of you do, I thought I'd point this out.

That’s disappointing. I use it almost every time I drive either the Lincoln or the Ford!

I have never used the feature but continues to show how they can take a features. Obviously, a cost saving action.

I continue to be disappointed in Ford's inability to manage their SW business. I got 2 backend SW updates this week.
No wonder they can't deliver the features they promised.

So sad

Wow...! I hope this does not spill over to the N/A Nautilus vehicles. I love Alexa connectivity, and use it every time I am in the vehicle. Hopefully, this is specific to "Digital Experience" (DE) vehicles, as noted above. I do not believe the prior non-Chinese models are part of what is deemed to be "DE". "DE" is part of that "wall to wall" display feature, correct?
