God awful rattle coming form under my 07 Navigator

Recently started hearing a serious rattle, especially with a vehicle full of passengers coming from under the truck. I suspected the exhaust but upon inspection I could see nothing amiss. I took it to a mechanic and he said that it is the middle body mounts that are rotting away and that it was a common problem with this era Navigators, Expedtions and F250's. Has anybody here had to deal with this? If so, what is the best way to go to fix this issue?

I guess it only rattles while driving? One of my cats went bad and made a horrible rattle sound, of course it occurred while engine was running, regardless of vehicle stationary or moving.

Did you ever fix it? Mine is doing the same thing especially when someone is sitting in the 3rd row.
