I can jump the solenoid turn it on key not working

The title, new starter, no crank.

The starter is not the only piece in the starting system.
Other pieces include
Ignition switch
Neutral start switch or whatever it is being called today like Transmission Range Switch (TRS)
Starter relay
Wiring, which will go through the junction box(es)

the jpg attached is what I found on the net. It does not list the year of the vehicle. But it looks close.

You can throw parts at the problem. Or use a test light to understand where there is power
