2025 Aviator Updated Climate

The latest Lincoln update has my display screen looking cheap. According to the update, it is to improve the climate section's usability, but the features are the same- just uglier. I called Lincoln, and I'm the only one who thinks so as of right now, which means they won't be reverting it any time soon. The customer service representative also said the update can't be removed. I didn't pay this kind of money for an ugly screen display that I don't have the option to change back. Has anyone successfully removed a software update from their 2025 Aviator with or without a scan tool?

I agree. The update looks cheap and unimpressive. They even removed the active filter screen and controls. You cant manually engage the active filter anymore, which was a feature that I liked.

I had the same thing happen and they acted like they didn’t know what was going on. I had it in the shop for something else on one of the recalls, and they simply stated that it works like all the other ones

Which update are you referring to? MIne was supposed to do an update at 1AM on the 20th (yesterday), but I haven't been in the vehicle yet.
