2025 Aviator Black Label - Whisper Blue/Flight
So, at least for me, the is the first and only meaningful update I have gotten since I got my 2025 Aviator a year ago. And by meaningful I means changes to how anything works or looks.

This update lightly touches a number of places in both front screens, the center screen and the instrument cluster. So far I have noticed.

- Extended AC controls completely re-organized and rationalized - much improved
- Added a Day/Night/Auto mode to the display (which I did not have) which also effects Google maps. Before Google maps would change, but I could not control it or force a preferred mode, and nothing else changed. Now the general Day/Night appearance of the infotainment is different, and you can toggle it manually.
- Several controls have altered colors or contrast to make them clearer
- Some text dialogs are more prominent and/or clearer
- The various themes, although unchanged, have been modified. Nothing drastic I can see but they do have differences
- Of course the added voice feedback and tutorials the update changelog mentions
- It seems like the audio system sounds better. This is likely wishful thinking on my part but I am leaning into the delusion.

I do not know if this has resolved any of the numerous bugs yet (settings not sticking, audio controls sometimes stop working, lockups ect) but we can hope.

I honestly wasn't expecting any changes. Car manufacturers alwasy say then are going to update their infotainment system and/or add features, but I have never actually experienced it. From what I can tell updates are limited to Teslas, and several makes electric vehicles.

Mine was supposed to complete an update Monday morning but I haven't checked it out yet.

I will be curious what changes you find… Certainly some I missed.

Also, the Icon for the current driver (just an R in my case) and the drop down for choosing the active phone have switched places, with the icon now at the right upper edge and the current driver icon just medial to that.

I noticed that the camera views are now intermittent after mine updated this week, and the screen says the dealer has to fix.
The screen just goes blank, and the audio sound sometimes quits as well. Turn car off and restart works about 1/2 the time. 🤷‍♂️

Did this address the bright screen issue with the info system?

Welcome to the Forum. 👋
I wasn't aware of that problem and don't recall reading about it.

As a follow up: I was gone for a week or so and this hasn’t happened since I returned. Noticed that the system did another update last night. Maybe this glitch was fixed….

it looks like the google nav window on the home screen has changed. you used to be able to adjust the view (3d vs north vs route overview) and the sound setting (on/off/alerts) directly on the home screen. now you have to go into the full screen nav view to adjust.

The Cabin Refresh button seems to be missing after the update. Anyone else notice this too?

I don't use it so I didn't notice. Will try to remember to check.

I still have the Refresh button.
