2007 town car drivers seat control

can someone explain to me what the identification number on the seat control means. and also are some different numbers are compatible with the same year.

There can be all kinds of numbers on a part.
An engineering number
A date code
A vendor code
Other coding

Generally different engineering numbers are not compatible. And know that these are not service part numbers. Ford is unique in the industry with numbering.

ok thx. ill take the part out and post the number, see what maybe someone can give me as what will work. also is there a way to by pass the switch to move drivers seat?
