Subwoofer delete

I had seen that after I commented. The same issue exists with the Corsair. Subwoofer is being deleted. I'm guessing it's a supply issue.
Same problem exists for both vehicles.

Hi Cuemark. Yes, there are several existing threads concerning the parts and commodity shortages with the Corsair. As you just stated, and as with other current parts/commodity shortages for many manufacturers, it is a supply issue for the "Premium" (base) audio system sub-woofer in the Corsair.

Since the discussion here was concerning the Aviator, I just did not want other members confusing the Corsair audio options you mentioned (no Revel Ultima 28 speaker system available) with the Aviator, which does offer the Revel Ultima 28 speaker system as an option.

I just found out they deleted the subwoofer from the 2023 Lincoln Corsair that I ordered back in September 2022. It is due to be delivered to my dealership the 2nd week of May, but I've decided I'm not going to take delivery on it. I upgraded to the better sound system because that is important to me in my vehicle. As much as I wanted the car, I'm willing to wait until I can get all the features that I want.

Update - My sales lady just told me that the subwoofer was NOT deleted. This is confusing to me, why would they think it was, and then it wasn't? I looked at the window sticker they sent me, and it does not have anything for the subwoofer delete credit, so I'm thinking it really does have it. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi G-438764. The audio system in your ordered vehicle is what determines whether the subwoofer is deleted or not. Which audio system is in your vehicle/did you order?

As mentioned, I believe the type of system determines whether or not you get the subwoofer. My window sticker shows Revel Ultima 3D Audio-28SPK and there is no subwoofer delete showing.
I agree that you should register so that we can see what you have regarding the vehicle and trim.

It is very useful information to have in order to properly answer a member's concern. It also helps in checking various parts sites if parts are in question as bbf2530 also alluded to and has done so several times before.
On the Explorer site, it was made a 'Required' feature because so many members were unable to provide an accurate/meaningful reply with that info missing.

What do I do? They deleted the subwoofer from my Standard Aviator build. I got my production date today, and it’s in the details. Is it possible to aftermarket the subwoofer or can I order it as a part from Lincoln later?

The subwoofer is garbage. Mine blew and I had to replace it with an active subwoofer in the truck. Don't worry about the subwoofer, get your car and add a subwoofer afterwards
