My Lincoln
2007 Silver Town Car Signature
First post here. I just picked up a beautiful '07 84k silver Town Car in almost perfect shape and I ordered a new aftermarket grill to replace the original one with buckling chrome coating. Any suggestions on removing the Lincoln emblem from the old grill? It looks like it's glued on pretty hard, so I'm not super optimistic about getting it off without damaging it.

Check youtube for how to videos.
This example should help guide you. Not specific year but should be close to what you need to do

Oktowncar, thank you for the video link! The '03 in the video had a metal badge glued in place. The '06 that I found in the junk yard does not have a metal backing, it was just clear plastic and a separate plastic Lincoln star all glued onto a bed of black adhesive. The star disintegrated when I tried to remove it. I'll have to search for an older donor car in hopes of finding a metal badge, like the one in the video.
