2018 Navigator??

2018 Navigator with 86k miles. Pull the trigger? Don’t? Test drove it seems to go smooth no issues. A little hard into I think second but have read it’s for towing? Down and up shifting every other gear was smooth.
 
A major potential issue is the cam phasers (google it). If they haven't been replaced, they will very likely fail. Replacement is covered by Ford under some circumstances; if not, you are looking at a ~$4K repair bill. The vehicle must sit overnight, if there are current issues with phasers, you are going to hear it on the very first start up.
 
I have a 2018 Navigator that has been an absolute pain in the ass. Bought it with around 30k miles and have already had to have the transmission rebuilt (issue starting to happen again) along with now issues with the cam phasers that they are trying not to pay for. That cam phaser repair is quoted around 6600. I would think twice....
