Got an update installed last week on our 25 Aviator Reserve II and ever since the BC has freaked out! On I 40 in Arkansas in areas where it never had an issue it goes into "hands on the wheel" mode often. Sometimes after that it will downshift twice, disengage and turn on flashers. Anyone else experiencing that??

Took it to the dealer for it's first oil change and found out the issue is most likely the software update on Sept. 17th failed or was only partially completed. They think the issue is likely the mapping for BC are missing or corrupted. Only fix is to take it back to have it corrected.

Well here's a strange one! I'm an IT guy and was troubleshooting a wifi issue with my 5 year old router - dunning very slow. Replaced the router ultimately and installed a mesh system for better coverage inside the house. Blue cruise fixed itself!! Apparently due to the bad wifi the update on September 17th (which said noting about BC) it had not finished the download of the software update. New wifi must have allowed it to complete the download and finish the installation. It would appear that the error was related to the BC maps. All is good in the hood and I canceled the service appointment.
