My Lincoln
2107 Lincoln Continental Reserve
My current extended warranty on my 2017 Lincoln Continental Reserve (fully optioned...3.0 bi-turbo engine) expires in about 30 days. Currently have the Premiere Plan which cost roughly $4K when car was purchased new. Car now has 33k miles and I'm meticulous about servicing it and dealer wants roughly $7K for a full drivetrain warranty covering another 60,000 miles or up to 2030. Is this fee a bit high? Any suggestions about other warranty companies?

Hi SullyJ. Try calling the usual online Lincoln ESP sellers many of us recommend to see what is available, and pricing:

Zeigler Automotive- Save $$ on Genuine Ford Protect and Lincoln Protect Extended Service Plans

Granger Ford- Ford Extended Service Plans - Ford Protect

Flood Ford- Ford Protect Sales - Geniune Ford ESP service contracts

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Well, so far the only ESP seller that looks like it will cover a 2017 Lincoln is Zeigler. I inherited the car and it currently has only 33K miles on it but current ESP expires in October. If anyone knows of any other good plans please share. Otherwise I guess I go with Zeigler.

Hi there,

Well, I think I was getting a bit confused with the Premium Coverage Plan vs Premium Maintenance Plan. I now know the difference. My car is a 2017 Lincoln Continental Reserve I obtained with 12k miles on it about 18 months ago. Car now has 33k miles but dropped it off for service today and they found a leak at the timing chain cover which is being repaired under the current Premier Care Plan the previous owner had (it was previously my uncle's car and I had the plan transferred to me and it expires 10/5/25). Yesterday I bought a Zeigler Premier Care plan for 3 years at a cost of $1950.00. I'm trying to see if I was a bit premature. Was it a good investment given the current mileage on the car and the reliability record for this model. Thoughts?
