My Lincoln
2024 Navigator L Black Label
Have a new 2024 L Black Label that has an annoying interior reverberation noise over bumps. It sounds like it is coming from the rear. I have tried messing with the two under floor (carpet) storage compartment doors but that does not seem to be the source. I will have the dealership have a look at the first oil change if I cannot figure it out. Anyone else experience this and find a fix for it? Thanks

Is it possible that the noise is coming from the moon /sunroof? I know you mentioned the rear but below somewhere in the rear. I had a similar type of "rattle" that I found was caused by the crossbar under the sunroof. When hitting bumps, the plastic cross piece would hit the glass area and cause a rattle. I placed a shim to stop the rattle.

Lift gate glass hinges could need grease. I had that issue. If the 3rd row seats are folded and unfolded, check that the seat belts are completely free so as to avoid hitting the side walls.

I have 2024 Black Label L and it seems like there are multiple rattles in the rear. I found one nut that was not even close to tight in the plastic tray area where the jack is. Tightened it and put a towel around the jack and tighten it down. Fixed one noise but there seem to be several others. Two trips in to dealership and still not resolved. It is awful. My 15 year old BMW SUV is way quieter than this Navi. Very disappointed as it seems like I am either going to have to learn to live with these or get rid of it. I really like the car other than all the interior rattles. Anyone have any experience with fixing these rear noises? Thanks

When I worked in a dealership service department, I discovered many sounds were subjective.

At that point when I wrote a service order for an adverse sound (rattles, noises or NVH concern) it always was with a test drive with the owner and myself. So there was clarity as to when and how the sound was happening.
If you are not taking a drive with the service writer, the chances of a repair that removes the sound is not high. The tech can only guess.
And a good service writer is going to test drive after the repair to make sure the tech handed it.

After the repair, you would want to drive it to generate the sound. And take it back immediately if the sound is still there.
Repeat trips are not something anyone wants.
