My Lincoln
2024 Nautilus Reserve III Hybrid
I am curious as to the demographics of the buyers of the new Lincoln Nautilus. I know Lincoln is known for catering to seniors and they would very much like to attract younger buyers. So I thought it would be interesting to take a sampling of the users in this forum.

I will start. I’m 62 and a retired software developer. I know we have quite a few techies on here.

I'm 53 and an engineer with a love of tech and a disdain for legacy infotainment systems.

I’m 63 and in commercial real estate. I drive 60 miles/day back and forth (combined) for work, and wanted a comfortable cruising vehicle, with good gas mileage…and I love lots of tech.

Perfect vehicle for me.

Ha, I am a wee bit older and also a retired engineer but typically avoid too much tech in cars and hold on cars for a least 150k. But buying the hybrid first year out was a real change for me.

Loved my 2016, 19, and 21 for the same reason. Cant wait to get in the drivers seat of my 24.

I would suspect more tech people would be members of the forum. Facebook would have a more diverse audience.

Retired 70 techie, 2012 mkx, 2019 Nautilus, looking forward to my 2024 Nautilus R3 Hybrid at the end of the month hopefully.

Kinda why I don't like the FB forum. (Sorry, but there's just too much fluff on there for me.)

Very old...lol
Retired 18 years ago. Not a degreed Engineer but functioned as one last 10 ten years. Took night classes or Ford onsite engineering classes when I had to learn something new. Lots of computer stuff last years of work.

Do not understand all the new stuff. Just want knobs, buttons or levers. I did not have take my eyes off the road to adjust the important things at least to me.

This audience probably isn't a good representation of the demographic purchasing a Lincoln. I have read where the average age for the Nautilus purchase has dropped from the mid 60 age to low 50 age.

For me, I'm 64 and retired after 35.5 years in automotive coatings. I serviced plants for Ford/Lincoln for much of my career with Kia/Hyundai and Honda/Acura thrown in at the end.

58. CTO of a tech startup. This is my third Lincoln after the MKX and the Nautilus.

42. Accountant working in Tech side of Financial Services. Currently still loving our 2017 Lincoln MKX but interested in electric/hybrid. Prefer quiet power, comfort, and good heat for Canadian prairies winter.

Currently looking at Nautlius, the new Caddy Optiq, Toyota Highlander platinum , Toyota Signia, Lexus RX, and the Mazda CX70.

The pricing of Nautilus has definitely sky rocketed since we bought our MKX. We bought ours new for about 55K CAD with some discounts and now for the fully tricked out (Massaging seats now required with the partner if we get another Lincoln) looking at 82K.

A bit of sticker shock as we start looking.

Hey Astroboy.
I am in Ontario and am currently driving a 21 that is loaded up and it stickered out at $68, all I am missing is the massage seats. I am currently on my third MKX/Nautilus.
A 24 reserve 202a package and hybrid is $76K , this is what I have on order.
Order one like this and it is very reasonable given todays market. It hits the sweet spot beautifully.
New vehicles prices jumped big time during Covid,
