I got the letter about the wiper motor, but no other. The last time I used the wipers they worked OK.Got 2 recall letters this week. Thank you Lincoln for telling me about these problems I didn't know about my car and then telling me you have no fix. I feel better now.

Saw there were (3) recalls in March; rearview camera, wiper motor & 2nd row seatbelt anchors. I agree with you. What’s the point of doing recalls but then making owners continue to drive their unsafe cars for mos or even 1 yr until they ID the fix. What are you supposed to do if you’re driving in a downpour & your wipers stop working. I requested loaner from Lincoln (given all the open recalls) but they refused. It’s ridic…think we’re up to 22 recalls + (3) CSPs.Got 2 recall letters this week. Just re-read that updated recall memo I linked above. That new Sync version showing as available for me is the recall fix.I noticed yesterday that there is a new version of Sync (for Sync 3, for Corsairs up through 2022). This is likely the backup camera fix. I saw it when logged into my Lincoln account under the Sync menu (to check for a new version). I had 3.4.23188, and that was the most recent until yesterday. It now says the latest version is 3.4.26057. It says "how do you want to install the update?" with choices of wifi (car downloads it and installs it), USB (you download and run it in the car's USB port) or "Find A Dealer."
My owner account still lists the recall as "remedy unavailable" but I am guessing this new version is the remedy but it wasn't updated yet to reflect the software availablility. I started my car searching for an update on wifi, and will see if that worked (it's spotty since I have no garage and the signal isn't great in the driveway). If that doesn't work I will probably do it by USB and either way make sure the update is reported to Lincoln (you have to upload a file to the web if you use USB, the wifi update calls home to say it's been done).
What made me look on the web was the Ford recall update letter to the NHTSA for this, which was dated June 9. It is at https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2026/RCLRPT-26V123-9706.pdf and is part of the NHTSA file on the recall (under the pulldown for "associated documents") at https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?nhtsaId=26V123
FWIW, I have never had an upside down image show up on my screen but my car is under that recall.
Finally got my Lincoln App working & see it doesn’t show recalls, CSPs or status anymore. The only reason I can think of as to why they’d remove that info is because it gave users the ability to easily watch that clock ticking waiting for the fixes.Still waiting for a fix to things Lincoln decided they were bad enough to issue a recall about. I am sure they know how to fix them, just that they are looking for a cheap way to do it.
I notice these don't even show up on my phone app.
Completed the update this afternoon and all went smoothly. Didn’t notice anything different or unusualJust pulled that update down to my PC. Will update via USB
My 22 GT was at the dealer yesterday for 30k mile service, and their tech tried "for several hours" to perform this recall, and couldn't.I did mine by USB today. Took 5 minutes. Once it finished and I shut down/opened the door, etc., Sync still said I had v 3.4.23188 not the new version. When I compared the Ford part number of the software that they gave me to download with the number in the recall announcement, I saw that I had downloaded NU5T-14G381-AD. This part number is found in the file name of one of the files--that file is in the "sync my ride' folder when you extract the files. The recall notice says that the new file should be NU5T-14G381-AE. So what I was given to download was the 23188 version. I confirmed this also by looking at the file dates--all of them were 7/7/2023 (double click the .tar.gz files to see the dates), which corresponds to the version number (7/7 is the 188th day of 2023). So I downloaded the files for the version I have. I will go back and check again later. Check your download--if the files do not contain NU5T-14G381-AE and the file dates are 7/7/23, don't bother installing that update as that's not the file set you need for the recall remedy (well, install it if you do need 3.4.23188).
Very interesting. I’ve downloaded the update but haven’t installed it yet. The file dates are 2/28/24.I did mine by USB today. Took 5 minutes. Well, 2/28 would be day 58 of 2026 so that matches up with the new version number. I will keep checking the download link--last night it gave an error and said try again later (and I did not get the Wifi/USB/find dealer choices). Good to know you did get the correct files. Hopefully the error means they pulled it to give me the correct version.Very interesting. I’ve downloaded the update but haven’t installed it yet. The file dates are 2/28/24.
Oops. Misread that. Yeah, same as mine (still there, just checked this AM).Well, it’s still the NU5T-14G381-AD version.
Most cars will check in with Ford via wifi to report the current version, and all of the instructions have noted that you should upload to the web the log file the car saves upon install, so the update is registered as done. Whether or not you have the recall, the update would be noted that you're up to date (my former '17 Fusion would work the same way, so this is not a specific issue to the recall). In the case of the recall, uploading the log file should also flag that you've taken care of the recall update. If it fails, you probably won't get the log file saved to your USB (and you probably would not upload it given you knew it was not complete) nor will the system be able to report the update being done via wifi. But I'm still a bit confused. It's too bad the SYNC sites don't mention the latest update is to address the recall. A few things went through my head -- mainly, what would happen if someone were to do the SYNC update but never knew or was aware it was to fix the recall. If someone just updated SYNC, would it get flagged in the system that the owner/driver "fixed" it and the recall was addressed? Or, if someone bricked their system from the update for whatever reason, would that create more issues when an owner tries to get it fixed and something in the system said the owner already downloaded and installed the update?
