My Lincoln
2023 aviator Res I, with luxury, dynamic and illumination / tow pkg
Hello everyone, we took delivery of our 2023 aviator at the beginning of Sept finally. Last week we had to take an emergency extended drive, and when we placed vehicle in reverse we had blue lines show up, and flickering then proceeded to be normal.... is anyone else getting this since the fix ....

And another is we have the reveal speaker system. When you are on the phone you can hear cracking in the sound coming from the right passenger speakers ...... dealership said we need to research this nothing out there from ford on this. . Said could be months before they find that. You pay a ton of money for a car to have to wait months for a potential fix. Plus since taking delivery the vehi le has been in shop 4 times for repairs from what I would assume is the time just sitting outside in weather not being moved when in build stage ..... both pillars at the window had to be replaced from warping

We picked up our 23 a couple weeks ago and the camera periodically acts up. We got a video of it, will upload it here shortly. It really pisses my wife off, since the whole reason we had to wait so long was for the camera recall, and it has this issue. And it is happening more often now.

it gets worse, ours did it once then was good for over a week. Now it has done it the last 3 times the camera has kicked in

And they have no clue. Is your supposedly the new setup after the recall

yep, ours is a post recall vehicle. We take it in Friday, and I don't expect much, but thinking if a few of us have the issue, may be something in the post recall hardware that is causing it

That is true. I'm hoping they get this darn thing figured out. Do you have the reveal speaker system?

Think what they need to do is just say hey we are going to switch to the sync 4 in these and be done with it

We do have the Revel Ultima audio, and haven't noticed any issues with it, yet.

Dealer also said one of their salesman has an Aviator that has the same camera issue.

Yeah that is gonna help us. On the speakers man it sounds like one of the speakers is blown when talking on the phone , they say nothing wrong with the speakers we were playing the radio at max, and we could hear on our phone the crackling but no idea why. I mean, it's funny how they think it's okay for the crackling to be okay especially since they confirmed it. Our car has been in 4 times and we have not even had it a month yet

Im pretty sure the recall was for a "temporary fix" that makes it better and happen less often. It is not the actual fix. We are still waiting for that to resolve the camera issue. My audio is fine no issues there and the best part of the vehicle.

That might have been the goal but ours does it every time now. And honestly, if it wasn't a permanent fix, why did they hold cars for months, while our trade ins depreciated. It is what it is now

From the fordauthority post, there may be a fix for out camera problems. This refers to the Aviator, but I think it is the same issue as with the Corsair. Comments????

"However, it’s quite possible that Lincoln – as well as Ford’s Detroit Big Three counterparts – will be impacted by the ongoing UAW strike in the coming months. Currently, union workers are on strike at the Chicago Assembly plant, which builds the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator, while both of those crossovers also continue to be impacted by a 360-degree camera issue that prompted a recall, as many units are sitting around waiting on parts that just began arriving at dealers this week. "

Yep it will do it intermittently
So giving you an update, our dealer looked at it last week and performed an update based on a TSB for our issue. That didn't work, so they believe the APIM needs replaced, which is on backorder

So ours is in the shop now with not eta of getting it back. Wife went out to leave for work one day and had no seats features, no vehicle info. Had to shut the car off and restart it to get things back. The director of parts and service helped us, when we told him this was the 6th time our aviator had been in for issues in less than a month he pulled up our information and said we'll they never did look at it for any of those things when it was in here, we are going to keep your car till we have everything fixed. This is not going to be a short process he says, take a navigator on us until we get everything fixed

Good morning everyone,

So we have had our aviator reserve with revel 28 speakers since Sept 8th finally. We have had a crackling or popping sound from the passenger door speakers when on a phone call from day one. The last time it went in, they had the car for 21 days. Replaced a speaker put a dent in the speaker cover and a dent in the hood, as well as a tool impression in the seat. Told us the issue was fixed and the issue is still present. They are totally clueless on what it is. Has anyone experienced this or is experiencing it currently. We are at our witts end cause all my wife wants is to drive her car not pay for a car and drive loaners all the the time
