While looking thru the new version of the LincolnWay app on my phone, I noticed that my 1-year Premium Connectivity trial expiration date has been extended from 3/7/2025 to 7/1/2025. So almost 4 additional months have been given. I assume this is my reward for the less-than-stellar experiences I have had with the car's infotainment center system. Has this extension already been discussed and I missed it? or am I Special?

Your purchase date must have been a day after mine. Mine was extended to 7/1/25 also. I wonder about those that purchased in other months.

(But you're still special.)

Mine is 7/1/25 also

I will add I believe Lincoln is still trying to figure out how to price these connectivity services. My blue cruise was extended until year end 2025. They do not want to leave any money on the table by under pricing. I had received at least 2 surveys from Lincoln asking my opinion on pricing of BC and said it was just too expensive since I would not use it much.

I'm hoping they go the way they did with MyFord Sync back in 2011 or so and make it free for at least the original purchaser. The trial period was just about over and suddenly they sent everyone notices that it was now included free.

One could argue it should be as long as the warranty as a minimum.

I just looked at the connected services on the Lincoln Way app and mine was also extended to 7/01/2025.
My 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve II Hybrid came with a 1 year subscription to the Lincoln Premium Connectivity and 4 year Blue Cruise.
Now for 2025 my exact same model comes with a 4 year subscription on both of those.

Well, the obvious solution is to trade yours in. 😁

No I can't do that. I've kinda become attached to mine now plus I haven't had any issues with it like others have experienced with 9700 miles on it as of now.
I was going to renew the premium connectivity anyway because it's just to useful to discontinue. However the Blue Cruise I don't care that much about and I will let that expire after the 4 year trial ends.

I still have not discovered what I will really lose with the Lincoln Connectivity if I have AA.

If I understand it correctly and I could be wrong. You will lose the ability to run any apps like YouTube and MyRadar or anything download from the app store. Google maps will no longer be available.
You will lose the voice commands like saying Hey Google set my temperature to 70 degrees

This is what the Lincoln says about premium connectivity.

Lincoln Premium Connectivity brings you entertainment and convenience on the road. Use voice assistance with Google Assistant or Alexa, navigate with Google Maps, and stream music, audiobooks, videos, news, or games on your in-vehicle screen while parked. More apps are available on Google Play.

I will likely find out since I do not plan to renew just to see what I give up such as I did with BC but then they extended BC. They way we drive, I would rather see an on demand rental option.

AA can do all the below. AA even supports voice. The AA Play Store allows apps that the Lincoln Play Store does not show such as my favorite streaming classical station.

Although it's not listed as such, I would think the ability to remote connection actives from the Lincoln Way app would also be part of the Premium Connectivity option -- locking/unlocking the vehicle and remote start. But perhaps these are considered "Regular" connectivity and not "Premium" so that they are included for free.

how does premium connectivity actually connect? I assume it uses the AT&T cellular connection built in the car. Why won't premium connectivity continue to work on my cell pone connected via bluetooth. We will see as I do not intend to pay for this.

Like @CliffDiver says, you can do most everything inside the car via your phone's Android Auto than you can using the vehicle's Android Automotive. In fact, more. You are NOT using the vehicle's AT&T service when you use Android Auto. Only your phone's service. You anything that Lincoln provides via their Lincoln Way app, or the Concierge ability to diagnose, etc will be unavailable.

For me it will depend upon how much it costs. I haven't yet seen the bill.

I believe PAAK and phone app features will continue to work. If they were not it would likely be mentioned in features. But we shall see.

I agree with PAAK. That's a Bluetooth interface. And I think you're right about Lincoln Way too. There's Lincoln Connect, which is complimentary, and then there's Lincoln Premium Connectivity, which gives you Alexa, Nav, etc.

After some thought, I believe the premium connectivity is related to anything you can access when you have a google account for the car. It is related to the personalization features. This means google commands to operate controls (temp, etc) would still work but no custom navigation, no access to Play Store to add apps.

I just noticed that my Premium Connectivity trial has been extended again from July 1 to September 1, 2025. No notice was given or more information provided.
