2024 delivery schedule

For all expecting delivery, please inspect your vehicle closely for residual adhesive from the protective shipping wrap. This is removed by the dealer but often leaves residual adhesive. I found this on my left rear fascia. Not sure if I should attempt removing this as I don't want to risk any harm to the Diamond Red paint. May have to go back to the dealer's detail crew. Walk around and inspect closely. The lazy dealer detail crew left lots of glue on the inside RHS rear door window where the Mulroney sticker was removed. Lastly, the vehicles appear to be shipped without washer solvent. My reservoir was empty.

Monroney sticker not Mulroney.
The Monroney sticker or window sticker is a label required in the United States to be displayed in all new automobiles and includes the listing of certain official information about the car. The window sticker was named after Almer Stillwell "Mike" Monroney, United States Senator from Oklahoma.

I'm actually telling my dealer to leave as much of the shipping wrap on the front of the car as possible. I'll be driving it straight to the detailer to have it wrapped in PPF and ceramic coated. He asked that I have them leave it on if possible that way no chance of damage while driving it to him.

My Last Updated changed to 2/27 today. Since I know the vehicle was about 200 miles from it's destination last Friday, this should mean that it has finally arrived at the Alliance rail hub near DFW about 25 miles from my house. Ironically, I'm in Houston this week for Dr visits, so I'm about 285 miles away. 😄 It would be great if it made it to the dealer by the time I got home, but such has not been my luck on this journey thus far.

I took mine and refused the full detail. I prefer to do it myself. Lots of adhesive left and smears of the cheap spray wax the dealers like to use.

Another ship has appeared with a very good chance of delivering Nautili. Miraculous Ace left Shanghai on 2/16 and is heading directly to Portland, currently expected 3/2.
Besides Glovis Silver and Miraculous Ace, there are two other ships scheduled at berth 601, making it four expected within the next week. Add Morning Cornet and Da Feng Gang He Shun Hao as vehicles expected at Portland. While these last two did not stop in Shanghai prior to this last crossing, I'm not sure how critical that is. We've seen a couple of ships that were seemingly delivering Nautilus' without stopping there. I would think the first two are far more likely, but regardless, I do expect the port to get very busy and delays to increase by early March. 😕

I agree. I like to do it as soon as I get home with a new car. I completely strip it down, clay bar, wash & rinse a dozen times in between steps then prep and ceramic coat.

But with the PPF Film, I was informed I kill the warranty if I use any ceramic coating except one specific brand that is approved by Xpel. So I pay to let them do the heavy work and get a 6 year warranty on the ceramic coat.

I’m probably just going to do my best to keep a good wax on the paint and try not to let every rock strike torment me. I don’t plan to keep the car more than 5-6 years anyway.

Now this is just ridiculous. I mention this morning that my vehicle is 25 miles away from my home while I'm out of town, and this evening I get this??? 😳

Swindler,

Sorry to hear about the wildfire. I hope it doesn't affect you, your home, family or Nautilus.

John

Thanks, but no worries John. I just thought it was so ironic that it appears that specific distance away. I did have to look and check. The only wildfire I saw was a 4 acre grass fire NW of me, but not near the rail yard. 🧯💨🔥

Fyi, this is one of those mystery cruises. If you look at post #1090, the VINView track followed the Glovis Countess path into Richmond exactly, but suddenly the vehicle pops up in Portland. The Countess, (at one time scheduled for Portland), never goes there, so it's clear it was another ship. But he doesn't know the day it arrived because his Last Update never been updated. That makes it hard to guess.

I'm sure it was some snafu of the system, as I try to reconcile in #1091, but we really don't know.

His is not the only forum member to have had a false ship. Not sure about FB. I stopped going there.
Hey Swinder, I wanted to let you know my car finally updated sometime this afternoon! The last update is now showing 2/19, I have to assume this is when my car was offloaded from the ship in Portland. This may help with your tracking of this particular mystery load & future shipments. I am hoping I get a more timely update when it’s in transit to the dealer so I know when it moves, who knows, maybe it is in transit and that triggered this update. I don’t think I can rely on my dates/updates too much.
Teresa

PS - Glad the fire seems to be a non event, that’s not a fun message to get, I’ve been through being evacuated.

Swindler,

Thank God for small miracles.

We read about all the wild fires in Texas last night. Please be safe. We need you.

I am really anxious for the rest of you to receive your cars. The more we have in the community, the better the forums become. Just don't go buying up all of the next batch of floor liners! I still need mine lol.

So there is mounting evidence that China is shipping Nautilus vehicles to Korea, which are then being shipped along with other vehicles to Portland. Your timing correlates well with RCC America. RCCA arrived in Portland on 2/19 and unloaded on 2/21. But this ship only stopped in Korea on its last visit to the far east. If you get any more information, please let us know.

I shouldn't be dismissive of the wildfires. The large 850,000 acre fire is in the Panhandle, far from us, but I'm sure it's causing havoc to thousands of residents there. It's still a significant concern to many, but should not reach us.

Smaller fires pop up here and there, and that could include areas near the rail hub, but they don't have the potential to burn like those in the Panhandle.
