FYI
Had to make a trip to the dealer today.
The above message has popped up on my DIC for 5 days straight; every time I started up. It's dismissible, but comes right back.
Owners manual says it's the 'goop' to seal a flat tire. Also says that if you use it, you need to replace the TPMS. $$$!
I don't ever plan to use it, so dealer reset warning for another 4 years, luckily.

If you use that stuff, your tire repair man will hate you as well. My MKZ has a donut spare, but I have another car that has an air pump instead. I carry a tire plug kit in it.

Appointment for tomorrow to address service tire mobility kit notation on dashboard. Anyone can tell me what to expect? Sending wife and I’d like to have some knowledge other than what the dealer tells her.

Is it possible to reset the Tire Mobility Kit warning without having to take it to the dealership?

Has anyone found a answer to this question? I have the same problem and the dealership wants 99.00 to scan to clear the code

It is possible to reset tire mobility kit. On left side of steering wheel with arrows and ok button, press left arrow until you get to Display/Trip, Information, and Settings. Go to Settings and press right arrow, now go to Vehicle and press right arrow. You will see Tire Mobility Kit in the categories, go into the category and switch it to 4 years, if already done switch it to 3 years. This should clear the message. I hope it helps.

Interesting. In all my time poking around the settings, I can't recall ever seeing anything for Tire Mobility Kit, at least in my '14. Did the '10-'12 years ship with Fix A Flat instead of a spare tire?

Yes this did help. I just got my 2016 mkz back in August and the Service Mobility kit came on. I followed these instructions and mine was set for 1 year. Change it to 4.

Thanks
