A customized Lincoln Black Label Navigator, specially ordered by Jay Leno, will make its debut and share center stage with the noted car enthusiast at this year’s SEMA show, which runs through Nov. 2. This long-wheelbase Lincoln Navigator, with its spacious interior and sleek, powerful lines, will be the only vehicle at the Jay Leno’s Garage Advanced Vehicle Care show stand. It has been customized by Van Nuys, California-based Galpin Motors & Auto Sports under the direction of the Lincoln Design Studio.
“Lincoln Navigator has an incredibly strong presence,” says Robert Parker, director of marketing, sales and service for The Lincoln Motor Company. “Even after adding personalized touches through the customization process, it remains instantly recognizable as a Lincoln.” The vehicle features a Chroma Crystal Blue exterior with a Lincoln Black Label Yacht Club theme inside. This traditional theme, one of the most popular selections for Navigator buyers, showcases Coastal Blue Venetian and Blue Bay Alpine leather.
The personalization stays on point with the Lincoln brand, says Lincoln Chief Designer Earl Lucas. Exterior customizations include a two-tone body color repaint, the addition of darker privacy glass with a smoky tint, darker chrome accents and distinctive wheels. Inside, changes include new seating color accents, the wrapping of additional touch points in supple Venetian leather and special backlit sill plates, to name a few.
The all-new Lincoln Navigator has been named North American Truck of the Year, marking the first time a Lincoln vehicle has captured this prestigious honor, now in its 24th year. The 2018 Lincoln Navigator took the honors over the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and all-new Ford Expedition to win the award presented today at the 2018 North American International Auto Show.

Nearly 60 veteran journalists from the United States and Canada vote for the vehicles, which must be all-new or substantially changed from the previous model to qualify.
The initial campaign spot for the all-new Lincoln Navigator, featuring longtime Lincoln collaborator Matthew McConaughey, showcases the impressive, commanding presence of the full-size luxury SUV. “Perfect Rhythm,” the first of two spots starring McConaughey and the 2018 Navigator, combines dramatic visuals and eclectic music to drive home the message that the all-new Navigator is a powerful, capable vehicle that elevates travel to a new level of comfort and style.
“Perfect Rhythm” premieres Dec. 28 with a 60-second spot on Lincoln’s Twitter and YouTube channels and will then air during the Jan. 1 College Football Playoff as a TV ad. A second spot will air later in the month. “Perfect rhythm refers to the feeling you get in those situations when everything comes together,” said John Emmert, group marketing manager, The Lincoln Motor Company. “This is our most spacious, refined and capable Navigator ever, combining modern luxury with advanced technology that elevates every passenger’s experience.”
