Hi Patty. Do the ventilated seat lights come on and stay on when you turn them on? Put it on a checklist to be checked when you bring it in for the first oil change. Or, make an appointment to bring it in sooner, if you really feel they are not working correctly.

Keep in mind that the seats are properly described as "ventilated". They will eventually cool a hot, perspiring caboose through ventilation, but they will not make that caboose cold. They do not get cold like the air conditioner.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Hello, yes the lights stay on when we turn them on, they are just not cool...they feel warm. We have a Ford Lariat and a GMC Terrain, both with ventilated seats, and we have compared, the AVIATOR seats are just not cool....

Hi Patty. Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done to help over the Internet as far as suggestions. It is not a common problem with a well known solution. And if the lights are illuminating, it is not something simple like a fuse. Therefore, any suggestions are going to be general guesses which will need to be followed up by a Dealer visit anyway.

There is no self-help to be performed in this case, so the best course of action is to use your warranty again, and let the Service Department get it right this time. They have their hands on your vehicle and are in the best position to fix this. Since it is not a known/common issue, our blind Internet guesses are pretty worthless.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.
