Hi guys and gals. My Continental has a rather worn looking start ignition button. I bought a new one to replace it as it really does make the interior look worse for wear. The button seems to have hooks that click it into place and hold it in. However I was wondering how to remove the button in the first place. I hope I don't have to remove the top dash panel and speaker grille in order to replace the button. Any ideas? Did anyone ever do this with their button?

Thanks.

It looks like you might have us stumped, KS. It boggles the mind on how a starter button gets that kind of wear.

Just to show the wear... It's the silver that is peeling.
