My 06 with 20K miles started doing this on roof and trunk after I waxed it and put a car cover on it, steaming the paint?

OK figured it out, the car cover did this, I purchased it on Amazon and some reviews said it ruined their paint job, should have done more research, the cover is non breathable, said nothing in description, and cooks your paint in sunshine, returning it, always get a cover that's breathable!

Had a gray Mustang GT coupe years ago, my baby (at the time). I spent the money and bought a soft, breathable Covercraft cover for it. Rain, snow, hot, cold, whatever. Worked perfectly, never had any issues. Wasn't cheap but well worth the extra $$$. In fact, my daughter still uses it on her Mercedes coupe.

I'm just going to buy a cheap grey breathable cover, heck $33 on Amazon, they have a year warranty , just get another one, its the hot summer sun I'm worrying about.

Since I have no garage and the Texas sun can be brutal, I just rely on the UV protection of wax to protect mine. I use Turtle Ice Wax. Might not be a top brand, but it is very easy to apply so I can do it often. I've had my '03 for 6 1/2 years now with no sun damage yet.
