Hooking up a 2012 Lincoln MKS to a battery charger

New member
I have a 2012 Lincoln MKS which I covered and parked outside in Minnesota for the winter. Now the battery is dead and I need to get the car started. How do I connect the battery charger without the alarm system going off? Thanks.

You can’t, it’s a good way to ensure that it’s working though. As Ron and SG states though, just press the unlock button and it should shut right off.You might want to put some ear muffs on though, it’s pretty loud under that hood when it goes off!
