For a 2010-2012 is 150,000 miles too much, or just getting started?

Hey Bob, I'm in ok city. Just bought a 2011 tc with 100300 miles. Love it. No problems. Drives like new. From what I have learned, these lincolns are pretty bullit proof. Not unusual to get 400 k on them.

Thanks for the input! That's what I'm learning. The two Navigators that I saw here had both windshields cracked across the lower third! Both in the same place at way different dealers. They had worn and torn leather, one the door handle chrome separated from the door, both around 140k miles! So, I was wondering what are issues that are seen in the larger population of these. It would be the perfect vehicle for our situation.

A company I used to deal with in the Midwest ran escort vehicles for oversized loads and he only bought Lincoln and Mercury for their longevity for the past 40 years that is all I have owned and driven for the same reason.

We have had Fords and Lincolns since the 50s. I'm the second or third gen. Including a beauty 78 powder blue Town Coupe 2 door my Mom's last car. Excited to find my Nav soon, I hope.

All cars last about the same in their price category, same parts, same people making them, all in competition, there is no silver bullet.

I bought one at 105k miles. After replacing the driver window motor and driver headlight ballast, traded it at 160k. Wish i never did. Rode smooth, esp on the hwy, handled great(im sure it needed tires b4 trade in), comfy seats that were in great shape. All in all, if you get one with that many miles, do your preventative maintenance and tune ups, treat her well, and shell treat you well in return for as long as you need. These trucks were built to last.

Yes, I am looking at 2008-2012 Navigators in White or Silver and 7 seat config. no L. Thanks to this virus I have to wait a bit, but trying to learn in the meantime. Most that I'm seeing at have 100k to 150k miles near my price range.
My goal is to understand what to have checked and done, to have it be as reliable as possible to 200-250k. Grateful for the input.

They come in different years.
I really don't know how to respond to that other than to say that the OP from Bob referenced a 2010. dlcorbett said he bought one. You would have to surmise he is referring to a 2010 or at least that generation of Navigator.

Thank you, I am aware that Lincoln makes Navigators for many years.

Sorry I see that now, I guess I read it too fast...…..

I live up at 7000 ft in NM and need 4x4, the Navigator can tow as well so the comfort and luxuries put it at the top of my list. The 2010 seems to be the target on price, but that whole generation is pretty cool.
