I posted a few days ago about a Navigation Problem. It may be related to an issue I had last night. I had driven my 2020 Navigator L about 50 miles with no issues on Saturday. On Sunday night, I went to start it and it would not start. The Start light (green, on switch) started flashing and I started getting random error messages (Parking Brake Functionality limited, drive mode unavailable, etc.). The computer appeared to be recycling and eventually everything went black -- no electrical power for any functions (including interior lights, locks, etc.).
Called the Lincoln Concierge who said this may be related to defective batteries that have an internal short. It wasn't the first time he had seen this issue on a new Lincoln.
It's at the dealer awaiting a diagnosis. I have a 2020 Aviator as a loaner.
Took the Aviator for a drive with my wife this evening. Very different dynamically from the Navigator. Definitely more sporty. It doesn't have the road presence that the Navigator does, but it is so much easier to park. It takes the Navigator to make the Aviator seem small. Both on the outside and on the inside -- wider seats, wider console. Much more 2nd row and much more third row space in the Navigator.
Acceleration is about the same. The Aviator feels "faster," the Navigator is more like a locomotive and is in fact faster.
I prefer the Navigator controls, definitely better feel in the Navigator.
