Debadging - remove L I N C O L N?

I just removed the engine/drive badging on the passenger side of the tailgate. Looks more symmetrical now.

Has anyone removed the L I N C O L N badge from the tailgate. Are you pleased with the looks?

Honestly, I have a Corsair Grand Touring and I wish it had some sort of badging that made it distinct. The only distinction on the Grand Touring models is the lettering on the doors and the Lincoln star on the grill are filled in with blue.

I guess the question is why waste the time & money to take badges off a car? Honestly, the guy behind you does not give a darn. Food for thought!

I thought replacing the chrome badge lettering with black lettering would be a cool mod to make. Total removal, I believe would take away from the Lincoln aesthetic.
