Changing alternator on 2012 MKS Ecoboost

I would assume ratchets, sockets, extensions, wrenches, etc., but be aware---The Lincoln shop manual says that you have to discharge the A/C system and completely remove the A/C compressor from the engine compartment to provide enough room to remove the alternator. This is only on the 3.5 engine. With the 3.7 engine the manual says to remove the radiator fan and unbolt and remove the alternator from the top. I assume your turbo keeps you from removing the alternator from the top.
