I was disappointed not to see a Cargo Net included with the purchase, nor one I saw on the Lincoln site (they have them for a couple of MK cars). I ended up ordering this very inexpensive one off of Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09MM43ZKP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It has two mounting choices, I simply picked spots for the round bases (with a screw you install). Two minutes to install and we're happy. You can position where you wish, but if you use the screws recognize one of your AC evaporators is back here. the spots I picked for the screws are out of the way and enable the full height of the net.

If you have the optional cargo area cover - you may pick alternate locations or just trim the mount a little so as not to interfere. We don't use a cover.

Me too, why no cargo net?

Might be available only with certain trim levels or options packages. 🤷‍♂️

Did you say screw? Meaning you had to drill or use self tapping screws to hold in place? I would like a net, but no thanks if those are my options.

The last cargo net I got came with the 2014 MKT. In fact I still have it in its original package. I forgot to return it when I returned the leased MKT

The bases are perhaps 1 1/4" in diameter with an adhesive pad and have a center hole for a screw (black screws provided). Since it's attaching to the plastic, with an electric screwdriver there's enough torque and speed to eventually enable the screw head to pierce the plastic, tighten up and seat the base. The combination of the adhesive and screw is stout. I'm confident this is a permanent mount.

If that's a problem for you, so be it.

Oh, I have no problem. Thanks for posting your solution.
