    My Navigator

    Hi,
    my Name is Rudi and I am owner of my 2009 Navigator since 09/2016.
    I got some Problems with it, so i searched for a Forum, and here I am!
    On my car the check engine light came up as well as the wrench. I got a code reader from a inlaw, the codes said:
    PO 731, 734 and 741. Sometimes the car shifts absolutely normal, then the warnings show up, after turning the engine off and restarting, it goes back to normal. The Transmission shop told me I need a new ( refurbished) transmission -
    I am not sure about that-coud anybody help me?
    Tks
    Rudi

    Welcome to the Forum.

    We have a forum for the Navigator here: https://lincolnforums.com/forums/for...coln-Navigator that will be able to sort out your codes and provide you with some insight.

    Good luck.

    P0731 = Gear 1 incorrect ratio
    P0734 = Gear 4 incorrect ratio
    P0741 = Torque Converter clutch circuit performance or stuck off

    I had very similar issues with an 2012 F150 which I am pretty sure has the same transmission.

    The fix for me was a new valve body for the transmission.
