What changes are coming for each of these model years.

Bob Q.

The rude answer, is we don't have a crystal ball. The nicer answer is we really don't know until Ford/Lincoln publishes details of any changes. There are a lot of rumors....

The 2034 Corsair will feature vertical take off and landing (VTOL) and will pilot itself autonomously. Rumored to reach Mach 0.8 with a flight time of under 4 hours from New York to Los Angeles. Includes both panoramic moonroof and panoramic floor window.

Cool, as a former jet engine mechanic this should be a good match.

But to answer the question, so far the updates for 2023 will likely by Sync4 with a larger (or at least different) touchscreen, and little else is known beyond that. Potentially some minor cosmetic changes, and there are usually new paint colors.

I haven't heard of anything major like a Corsair Black Label, but you never know.

Any idea when they normally announce the next years models? One would think 2023 does not come out until 2023….but car companies are weird and don’t look at calendars. Does Lincoln always “announce them in September and come out in November” or something like that?

Sync 4, a new hybrid engine arrangement, different battery for GT, larger screen in the middle.

Hi req. Other than general information like SYNC 4, an updated interior and the moves towards electrification? As others have stated, in various ways ;), it is far too early for that sort of information.

Good luck.

Hi Mano. New model years are generally introduced well before the actual calendar year. It has virtually always been that way.

So the 2023's can be expected to be introduced and then available well before the fall of this year...2022. And the 2024's would be available sometime similar in 2023. Of course, things are a bit confused nowadays, with pandemic induced shortages and problems.

Good luck.

As an example (and assuming Ford trucks would be similar in model year timing) my 2019 F250 arrived at the dealer on 8/15/2018, literally the first delivery of 2019s to that dealership. So when were the 2019 features/changes (vs 2018’s) announced? Not sure, but suspect ~2 months before the 2019s starting hitting lots, so probably mid-June-ish. No idea if that kind of timing is still in effect post-pandemic.

Once a jet engine mechanic, always a jet engine mechanic, I always say.
